How to Create a
First let me explain how to calculate the “Annual Star”
The formula is easy reduce any year to single digits and subtract the figure from 11 this will give you the “Annual Star Number” let’s try it for 1961:
We use the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival) which falls on the first day of first Chinese lunar month usually falls during 21 January and February 20 in Gregorian calendar. If your dates fall between these you need to check if you have to revert back 1 year
1 + 9 + 6 + 1 = 17 == 1 + 7 = 8 : Finally 11 – 8 = 3
So now we know the annual star number for 1961 is 3 and therefor the chart used to show positions of the remaining 8 stars is 3 (see below). Each year the prevailing annual star/number will take its place in the central palace and star/number 5 becomes chameleon like and takes on the essence (energy) of the new central star, it will now be time stamped like the remaining 7 stars. See Star Chart 3 below.
Notice in star chart 3 above that 3 and 5 have switched places and 5 now has the 3 stars essence (qualities).
Let’s explain this a little better, there are 9 possible star charts each representing a different annual number from 1 to 9, chart number 5 is the base chart ; we know this because 5 is located in the central palace with no defined time tag. See star chart 5 below…that
The 9 flying stars each represent a variation of Ch’I, each star/number is in a different location at different points in time; similar to the way we can track the orbit of the earth around the sun and pinpoint it’s position at certain time.
The 9 stars are not static they change positions over time using the Lou Shu trail as orbital path. Simply put at given point in time (snap shot) one and only one star will be dominant and its essence (energy) will be in effect. Just like the earth orbiting the sun it takes a full year for each star to complete a full orbit, hence being called “Annual Stars”
Each Star has its own traits or energy , they also have:
1 Unique Trigram (except for 5 in the central palace)
1 Unique Number
3 of the 24 Mountains
3 Sectors containing 1 of the 24 mountains , which will be either “plus” or “minus”
So when you are born, taking a snapshot would reveal what your Personal Star would be and essence.
As a sample lets go back to 1961 for a person born on 28th September:
You were born on 28 09 1961 ===> Your Annual Birth Number is 3
Your Birth Star Number = 1
Your Ruling Mountain Sign is =
Your Ruling Trigram =
Your Ruling Element =
Target Date is = 12-05-2018 ===> Target Year Annual Number = 9
Target Date Star Number = 8
Target Date Star Details=8 and lies in 2nd Sector Gen
End Of Target Details
Compare = Birth Number 1 and Target Number 8
1 Water being dominated by 8 Earth. Here we have an Earth Star controlling a Water Star: but these two Stars are considered inherently good. you can extract the positives out of each of these
